THE 23 TEAMS OF THE 27TH GIRO ROSA HAVE BEEN SELECTED

The organization of the Giro d’Italia Internazionale Women Elite, the most important stage race in the Women’s World Tour has chosen the teams which will run the edition 2016, from 1st to 10th July 2016.

Italy will be the most represented Country, with 7 teams: Alè Cipollini, Aromitalia – Vaiano – Fondriest, Bepink, Inpa – Bianchi, Servetto – Footon – Alurecycling, S.C. Michela Fanini and Top Girls Fassa Bortolo. The Netherlands, home of the last winner Anna Van der Breggen, comes with three Top Teams: Boels Dolmans (with the actual World Tour’s Leader and World Champion Lizzie Armitstead), Rabo-Liv and Liv-Plantur. Two teams belong to the following Nations: USA (Cylance Pro Cycling & Hagens Berman/Supermint), Belgium (Lensworld Zannata & Lotto Soudal Ladies) and Spain (Bizkaia-Durango & Lointek). Countries with only one team are Germany (Canyon-SRAM), Slovenia (BTC City Ljubljana), Great Britain (Wiggle High5), Kazakhstan (Astana Women’s Team), Norway (Hitec-Products), France (Poitou-Charentes.Futuroscope.86) and Argentina with Xirayas de San Luis Team.

L’organizzazione del Giro d’Italia Internazionale Femminile Elite, la più importante e prestigiosa corsa a tappe del Women’s World Tour, ha scelto le squadre che gareggeranno dall’1 al 10 luglio l’edizione 2016. L’Italia sarà il paese più rappresentato, con sette compagini: Alè Cipollini, Aromitalia – Vaiano – Fondriest, Bepink, Inpa – Bianchi, Servetto – Footon – Alurecycling, S.C. Michela Fanini e Top Girls Fassa Bortolo. L’Olanda, nazione della vincitrice uscente Anna Van der Breggen, avrà a disposizione tre top teams del calibro di Boels Dolmans (con la leader del World Tour e Campionessa Mondiale in carica Lizzie Armitstead), Rabo-Liv e Liv-Plantur. Con due formazioni a testa ci sono Germania (Canyon-SRAM), Stati Uniti (Cyclance Pro Cycling e Hagens Berman/Supermint), Belgio (Lensworld Zannata e Lotto Soudal Ladies), Spagna (Bizkaia-Durango e Lointek). Le nazioni con una singola squadra sono invece Germania (Canyon-SRAM), Slovenia (BTC City Ljubljana), la Gran Bretagna (Wiggle High5), il Kazakistan (Astana Women’s Team), la Norvegia (Hitec-Products), la Francia (Poitou-Charentes.Futuroscope.86) e la novità Argentina (Xirayas de San Luis).
