SOPREMA Group, leader in thermal and acoustic waterproofing, becomes part of the “big family” of Giro Rosa, the Women’s Giro d’Italia, the most important stage race in the International Cycling Calendar and part of the UCI Women’s World Tour, the most prestigious list of races created by the Union Cycliste Internationale.

The French Group has its Italian seat in Chignolo d’Isola (Bergamo) and 5 factories, and it becomes the new sponsor of the glorious Green Jersey, which identifies the leader of the Best Climbers. A Green Jersey that this year would probably be assigned on the Historical Monte Zoncolan, a legendary climb for Men and Women Cycling, considered as the most brutal, hardest and most charming European climb.

SOPREMA Group, leader in impermeabilizzazione ed isolamento termico ed acustico, entra ufficialmente a fare parte della grande famiglia del “Giro Rosa”, il Giro Ciclistico d’Italia Femminile: la più importante gara a tappe del panorama ciclistico internazionale, inserita tra la ristretta cerchia delle prove dell’U.C.I. Women’s World Tour, la prestigiosa competizione mondiale in prove multiple voluta dall’Unione Ciclistica Internazionale.

Il Gruppo francese, con sede italiana a Chignolo d’Isola (BG), e ben cinque stabilimenti in Italia sponsorizzerà la gloriosa Maglia Verde, che identifica la leader assoluta della speciale graduatoria riservata alle migliori scalatrici della “Corsa Rosa”. Una maglia verde che quest’anno, con ogni probabilità, sarà assegnata ufficialmente in vetta allo storico Monte Zoncolan, una salita leggendaria per il ciclismo maschile e femminile, considerata da molti la salita più dura ed affascinante d’Europa.
